Day Out With Thomas Coming to Crossroads Village for Two August Weekends

GENESEE, Mich. — Thomas the Tank Engine will return to Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad for two weekends in August, bringing train rides, themed activities and family entertainment to Genesee County.

The 2026 Day Out With Thomas: Let’s Rock! Let’s Roll! event is scheduled for August 14–16 and August 21–23 at Crossroads Village.

Families will have the opportunity to ride behind Thomas and take part in Thomas & Friends activities throughout the village. The event is designed especially for young train fans and is expected to include music, entertainment and photo opportunities.

Visitors can also spend time exploring the historic buildings and attractions at Crossroads Village. With the Huckleberry Railroad, village displays and other family activities, the event can easily become a full-day outing.

Day Out With Thomas is one of the attraction’s most popular annual events, so families may want to purchase tickets in advance and allow extra time for parking and entry.

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is located in the Flint area and regularly draws visitors from across Mid-Michigan during its seasonal events.
