Montrose Blueberry Festival Returns Aug. 13–16 with Carnival Rides and Family Fun

The Montrose Blueberry Festival will return Aug. 13–16, 2026, bringing four days of carnival rides, food and community activity to Carter Elementary School.

Signs promoting the festival have begun appearing around Montrose, marking the return of one of the community’s most familiar summer traditions. The colorful display features a Ferris wheel, carousel and midway food stand, along with the festival dates and location.

Family Fun Tyme Amusements is listed as the carnival provider for this year’s event.

A Familiar Summer Tradition

The Montrose Blueberry Festival has long served as an August gathering for local families, former residents and visitors from surrounding Mid-Michigan communities.

While the newly posted sign focuses mainly on the carnival, the festival typically creates activity throughout Montrose as residents come together for several days of summer entertainment and community pride.

Additional information about the 2026 schedule, including daily hours and other festival activities, was not included on the sign and is expected to be announced closer to the event.

Carnival Rides at Carter Elementary

Carter Elementary School will once again serve as the main festival location.

The carnival is expected to feature a traditional midway atmosphere with amusement rides, games and refreshment stands. Families should watch for later announcements regarding ride hours, ticket prices and any available wristband specials.

Parents may also want to review posted height and safety requirements before children board the rides. Attraction availability can change because of weather, maintenance or operating conditions.
